Work package 2
Transnational training workshops in 2017

Transnational training workshops aim to exchange know-how about forest risk management between partners and associated partners of the PLURIFOR project.

In these technical sessions, participants will learn how to use state-of-the-art tools for forest risk management, with the possibility of adapting and applying them to their own regions. Some workshops also include a field trip and the opportunity to exchange with forest managers and forest owner associations. Afterwards, these tools will be used to evaluate and improve current risk management plans or create new ones.

Due to a limited number of places, priority is given to PLURIFOR partners and associated partners from the specific risk group. However, invited guests and partner collaborators who would find these tools useful are also welcome.

The workshop minutes will be published as a main product of WP2 once they have all been carried out.
